Kensal Green

Guide to Kensal Green

"Kensal Green station is only a short walk from Kensal Rise, it offers an alternative to the Kensal Rise Overground if you need the Bakerloo Line towards Paddington and the Overground to Euston. It is located on Harrow Road, if you walk towards the upper part you will see a great variety of Brazilian & Portuguese delicatessens, bakeries, butchers and even hairdressers. There is a quiet residential area located north/north west to the station such as College Road, Purves Road, Burrows Road, Bathurst Gardens...offering a great selection of semi-detached/detached houses and victorian conversions ideal for first time buyers/families or young professionals. If you live in that area the best place to visit is, on College Road, a charming family run cafe called Graceland if you fancy quality fresh food in a relaxing atmosphere or L’Anglolo the Italian delicatessen next door which has a mouthwatering selection of authentic Italian ingredients.” - Brigitta Nagypal
